Eastern Australian Smoke Plumes

Numerous smoke plumes are visible in today's SeaWiFS image of eastern Australia. The fires are distributed along the southern Queensland and northern New South Wales coasts. Sydney is under partially cloudy skies about seven-tenths of the way down from the top of the image.
