SeaWiFS: Tasman Sea Bloom

It's about midway through spring in the southern hemisphere. Yesterday, the Orbview-2 satellite transmitted this SeaWiFS image of a multihued phytoplankton bloom off the northwest coast of New Zealand's South Island.
